I began my graphic design journey in 2010 by creating content for my high school. I wasn’t aware of my genuine interest in art and design, but in 2011 it sparked once I got a job working in Print and Marketing. Working in a retail print environment required extensive knowledge in many different areas, and it helped me understand the depth of the design and print industry. 

I decided to become a freelance designer after graduate school. My main focus is building my brand, ByKiraMichelle. I also am focusing on the business side as I run my own sticker shop. All of my designs are hand drawn in Procreate and or custom made using the Adobe Suite.  I have continued to teach myself new design techniques, researching new programs, ideas and various methods that focus on specific skills to help build and improve my brand.
